🕒 A Promise to Customers: Setting "Operating Hours"

📖 Introduction

Operating hours are more than just settings; they are a promise to customers that "food is available right now." You can easily update them anytime, anywhere via your tablet or the Merchant Portal on your smartphone.

 

Part 1. 💡 Why are "Accurate Hours" Important?

Imagine arriving at a store that said "Open," only to find it closed. The disappointment is even faster on a delivery app.

• Prevent Missed Sales: Customers won't wait for you to open. They will order from another Rocket Now shop immediately, and it is hard to win them back.

• Build Trust: Sticking to accurate hours tells customers, "You can rely on this shop." This directly leads to repeat customers and stable sales.

 

Part 2. 📅 Basic Setup: Regular Hours

Follow these steps to set your recurring daily schedule.

1. Go to [Self Service] > [Business Hours/Closed] and select [Manage Hours].

2. Check your current schedule. To make changes, click [Edit Hours] at the top right.
   

   

3. Details by Day of the Week

• Time: Set Start and End times. (Add multiple slots if you have a break in the middle of the day.)

• Switch ON: Sets the day as Open.

• Switch OFF: Sets the day as Closed (Regular Holiday).

Make sure to click the [Save] button at the bottom when finished.

 

Part 3. 🏖️ "Temporary Closure" (Emergencies/Holidays)

Use this for unexpected days off, holidays, or emergencies.

When to Use:

• Irregular Days Off: Taking a break on a non-regular holiday.

• Special Seasons: New Year's, Summer Vacation, etc.

• Emergencies: When you must close "immediately" due to store issues.

 

How to Set:

1. Go to [Self Service] > [Business Hours/Closed] and select [Temp Closure].

2. Click [Register Temp Closure] at the top right.

3. Select Today, Tomorrow, or Select Date.

4. Set the start/end dates and times, then click [Register].

⚠️ Warning: Closing for more than 2 weeks? 

The app allows temporary closures for up to 14 days. For longer breaks (e.g., renovations), please contact support for assistance.

💡 [Tip] Reopening Caution

Orders resume automatically once the temporary closure time ends. Even while closed, check your Closure End Time. Be ready to accept orders the moment you reopen!
